Our Current Demonstrations
FAQs
The scihigh program has been visiting classrooms throughout the GTA since 1997 to promote and excite students about science. Hands-on demonstrations we are currently presenting include:

  • Gel electrophoresis
  • Extracting DNA from bananas
  • Microarray demonstration
  • Viewing GFP (glowing) organisms
  • Click here for the full list of our demonstrations
Our visits usually run between 60-90 minutes and we typically present to 20-30 students at a time. We can do multiple visits to classes in your school in a day, and we can also try our best to tailor our demonstrations and experiments to fit with your curriculum.

Our program is completely free of charge to schools and community groups, and all you need to provide for us are the bright, eager young minds of your students.
